Safety, privacy & reporting

Parent approval, location privacy, content moderation, COPPA, and how to report concerns.

Safety by design

KidStand is built for kids with parents in control. Every stand requires parent approval before it goes live. Parents manage all money. Location is privacy-minded. Content is moderated.

Parent approval gate

Kids cannot make a stand live or accept payments without a parent reviewing and approving it. Parents can also require approval for every new stand and manage kid permissions.

Location privacy

  • Stands show a rough map area, not a precise street address.
  • Discovery is proximity-based β€” viewers see stands near them, not stands across the country.
  • Exact location is never shared publicly on a stand detail page.

Content moderation

Stand photos and descriptions are checked by automated content safety systems. Inappropriate content is blocked or flagged for review. Users can report stands that violate community guidelines.

Reporting a stand

In the app, tap Report on a stand detail screen to flag concerns. You can also email support@kidstand.app. We review reports promptly and may remove stands or accounts that violate our guidelines.

Children's privacy (COPPA)

KidStand takes children's privacy seriously. Parents create and manage household accounts. We collect only what is needed to run the service safely. Read our full Privacy Policy for details on data collection, retention, and your rights.

See Legal & Terms for Terms, Privacy Policy, and Safety & Security.
