Stand won't go live
- Parent must approve and complete Go Live ($1.99) or have an active annual plan.
- Payments must be enabled (Stripe Connect) before the stand can accept customer payments.
- Check for a pending approval on the parent's device or at kidstand.app/parent.
- Ensure the stand has a photo, product, goal, and map location.
Stand not appearing on the map
- Only live, open stands appear. Closed or pending stands are hidden.
- Stands are only visible to users within discovery range of the stand location.
- Verify location permissions are enabled for KidStand on your device.
- Try pulling to refresh the map.
QR code or checkout link not working
- Confirm the stand is still live β the timer may have expired.
- Scan the QR code in good lighting. Try opening the link manually: kidstand.app/checkout/[standId].
- Customers need an internet connection to complete Stripe checkout.
- If checkout loads but payment fails, try a different card or Apple Pay.
Stand closed unexpectedly
Stands auto-close when the open-duration timer runs out. Kids and parents can also close a stand manually from the live stand screen. After closing, the stand enters reflection and no longer accepts payments.
Notifications not working
- Open Settings β KidStand and allow Notifications.
- In the app, check Account β Nearby stand alerts is enabled.
- Nearby alerts require location permission set to "While Using" or "Always".
